ON MARCHING BANDS

AND DANCING KREWES

Spotlight

PAST PARTICIPANTS:

Parades are processions of people in costume accompanied by marching bands, floats, and dance groups. In Krewe of BOO!, the floats may hog the spotlight, but it's the marching bands and dancing groups that steal the show! In between the tractor-drawn parade flows, the dedicated dancers and talented musicians step side by side in a march through the French Quarter to entertain the masses. These tongue-in-cheek dance troupes are costumed in

Halloween motifs and the marching bands look sharp in their uniforms and shining instruments.

These parading groups are essential to the Krewe of BOO! line up, filling the gaps between floats with glitter and smiles and pure entertainment.
